Dr. Desiree Loreno has been practicing dentistry for over fifteen years. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Among her graduating class, she was honored with the American Academy of Periodontology Dental Student Award for Achievement in Periodontology.
Immediately after graduating, she began her private practice career in Chicago. During her days off, she volunteered at Goldie's Place providing free dental care for the homeless. Three years after graduation, Dr. Loreno returned to her alma mater as an Associate Clinical Professor. Currently, Dr. Loreno works full time at Gurnee Dental Arts to serve the community she calls home.

Cynthia is a dental assistant with over ten years of experience - a vast majority of which working with children. She is certified in coronal tooth polishing, placement of pit and fissure sealants, as well as, nitrous oxide monitoring. She started her career at a private practice in Chicago and has more recently worked for a federal qualified health center. She is currently here at Gurnee Dental Arts as both the office manager and dental assistant. Cynthia can help you with everything you need, from scheduling an appointment to answering any questions you may have regarding the practice, your insurance, or any other dentally related questions.
